Notary Public fees in Singapore are prescribed by law. The fees payable depend on the type of notarial act (certified true copy or witnessing) and the number of documents. The Apostille fee is a separate charge payable to the Singapore Academy of Law (SAL).

The prescribed fee for a certified true copy comprises a fee for the first document at the prescribed rate, and a reduced rate for each subsequent document.
You may choose between two options:
Each document that requires witnessing requires an individual Notarial Certificate. The prescribed fee is charged per document.
Where a single document bears multiple signatures, all signatures on that document are witnessed together under one Notarial Certificate.
Apostille through a Notary Public: $80 + GST per Apostille certificate, payable to the Singapore Academy of Law (SAL).
Direct SAL Apostille (eligible Singapore government documents only): $10 + GST per Apostille certificate, applied for directly at SAL.
e-Apostille for notarised documents: $80 + GST ($87.20) per certificate — the same fee as the physical Apostille, payable to SAL.
Direct e-Apostille for ACRA documents: $10 + GST ($10.70) per document, payable directly to SAL. No Notary Public needed. Apply at the SAL Legalisation Portal.
Please note: The Apostille fee is paid by the Notary Public to SAL using SAL's legalisation portal. The Apostille is issued separately by SAL and must be collected directly from SAL — not from the Notary Public's office. Refer to SAL's legalisation website for collection arrangements.
Same fees for all document types: Notary Public fees are prescribed by law and are the same regardless of whether the document is physical or digital. The Apostille fee ($80 + GST for notarised documents, $10 + GST for direct SAL e-Apostille) is the same for physical Apostille and e-Apostille.
The e-Apostille is available only if the overseas recipient agrees to accept it. Before opting for the e-Apostille, please confirm with the overseas recipient that they will accept the e-Apostille for the intended purpose.
