How is it Charged?
This Quote is for per document basis. For example, if you have 4 sets of Sale and Purchase Agreement, then the quoted price (subject to change) X 4 sets.
What to Bring
- the Document, eg. Statutory Declaration, S&P Agreement
- your ID (NRIC or Passport)
What to Do
In using this service, please ensure that the document is duly completed with your name(s), identity number(s) and other particulars, and you are required to bring your identification documents. Additional charges will be incurred if we are to assist you to draft or complete the form/document.
Please do not pre-sign the document, and we reserve the right to reject engagement notwithstanding any payment or attendance at our office.
You should know or understand what you are signing prior to your attendance, and if it is in a foreign language, you are advised to get a English translation, or get someone to explain to you.
What We Don’t Do
Our Notary Public’s role is strictly to attest that you have duly signed the document in his presence, and has no duty to explain the contents of the documents. You are advised to seek legal or other professional assistance on the contents prior to attending at our office.
Where the document is in a non-English language (eg. Chinese, Malay, French), and where it requires the Notary Public to attest, among others, that the person signing the document understands the document, we may be unable to assist. It it preferred that for any non-English document, there is a corresponding English version.
If the Applicant does not understand the contents of the document that he is signing, we will not accept the engagement.
If we have doubts as to your mental capacity to understand, we may reject the engagement at our discretion.
